Christine brings a wealth of
experience and knowledge to individuals who are embarking on career or life transitions. She has been a certified business/life coach since 2002 and has
facilitated career transitions for clients in entrepreneurial business development, large corporations, the non-profit sector, and individual creative
pursuits.
Christine has guided clients to success in pursuits as diverse as getting a story published in a best-selling book to planning a young
family’s year-long cross-country trip. She has coached and mentored clients in both non-profit and private sector organizations and individuals
including the general manager of a radio station, published authors, small business owners, and CEOs.
A life-long learner, Christine has earned a degree in Organizational Management and done graduate work in adult education at the University of
Connecticut. She has been trained and certified in conflict resolution and mediation and also in small business development at the Entrepreneurial Center
for Women at the University of Hartford.
Christine’s past experience also includes labor relations, negotiating contracts and hiring and managing both union and non-union employees. Skilled
in interviewing techniques as well as negotiations, Christine helps clients maximize their strengths and once an offer is made, provide direction in
negotiating the best package.
Passionate about her community, and the desire to help others, Christine
serves as a member of the board of directors of Chrysalis Center, a local non-profit organization. She is the chair of the fund-raising committee for the
final stage of a six million dollar capital campaign for building a new center.
Prior to developing Strategic Life Plans Coaching and Consulting, Christine was the executive director of Christmas in April * Hartford, a well-respected
volunteer, non-profit organization that renovated homes for elderly and disabled homeowners. She also created a training program that served as a national
model for over four-hundred Christmas in April affiliates. Christine is also a skilled event planner and has professionally coordinated events ranging from
intimate affairs to events with over 1000 guests.
Christine's natural curiosity has led her on a lifelong quest for adventure and includes a
wide variety of experiences from Army boot camp at age 18 to back-packing through Central America, to living on an Island in the Caribbean, to jumping out
of a plane at 14,000 feet in a skydiving adventure!
